Lisa B. Holbrook, M.Ed., LPC
Lisa has been in private practice counseling for 16 years. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from UNC-G and after serving in youth ministry and as the Client Services Director of a local Pregnancy Care Center, began her private practice. Lisa specializes in counseling to women, couples, children, and adolescents. She received specialized training with Dr. Karyn Purvis at the Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University in Trust-Based Relational Interventions® (TBRI®) which is an emerging intervention model for a wide range of childhood behavioral problems.
Lisa has a special interest in working with children who have been adopted. She also has years of experience working with clients who have experienced trauma, including sexual abuse. Lisa has years of experience as a public speaker and is available for workshops, retreats, conferences, and trainings.
